Is It Possible To Forgive The Unforgiveable?

ADL Blog Images (43)

By Rev. Susan Z. Rich

In today’s energy of fear, hatred, unbending beliefs and our whole way of life being challenged. We have all felt resentment, pain, rage and the desperate need for retaliation of an injustice done to you or someone else. There are so many levels of unforgiveness we carry and sometimes act out, it would be impossible to name them all. Regardless if it is a moment of road rage, years of childhood abuse, betrayal, an injustice never made right or small as a slight indignity g…

Why Teach Spirit to be Spiritual? Let's Just Create!

ADL Blog Images (38)

By Rev. Brian Kirsch

We’ve heard spiritual guru’s say "We are spirit learning to be human". WHAT? If I'm spirit, then I create! I don't need to learn to be human. The humor in  believing we need to learn to be human is like Eddie Murphy, from his Saturday Night Live skit, where we think he had to learn to be Gumby! We ARE SPIRIT. Let’s act like spirit and do what we do, which is create. Soooo, let's just jump right in and start to create!

Now it's interesting that once we decide what we're goi…

It’s All About Me

ADL Blog Images (36)

By Susan Z. Rich

When you make a decision, to say or do something that gives you a good feeling about yourself, then your divine self is patting you on the back or… your ego has just pulled a fast one on you. It is sometimes hard to discern. So many people who are always in reality, believe that making life all about you is the epitome of narcissism and entitlement. But as we are reminded when we start allowing others to vampire every ounce of light and energy we have in the good name of …

Thou Shalt Have No Other God Before Me?

ADL Blog Images (35)

By Rev. Brian Kirsch

OMG, Does that mean there are other gods out there?

Now I’m not a huge Joel Osteen fan, however, years ago I saw him having an interview with the late great Larry King. I totally forget what they were discussing. But if you were familiar with the Larry King Live show, you know he dug into controversial topics. Soooo, Mr King asked Joel Osteen if he had an opinion on the matter and if he did have an opinion, what was it? The answer he gave was an absolute “AHA!” m…

I know in my heart that Divine Source Energy and I are always One. When the situations around me seem to be in human chaos, I can call upon my intuition and guidance, which are only a short breath away.

I rely on my innate serenity to relax and rest, on my inner joy to fill my heart with song, on my natural healing powers to guide me to wholeness, and on my belief in universal abundance to bring prosperity into my life.

I absolutely know that all this is true for me through…

I And The Ego Are One

ADL Blog Images (27)

By Rev. Brian Kirsch

“I and the Father are one.”

~Jesus Christ in John 10:30 King James Bible

I hear so many “spiritual” folks wanting to silence their egos. What’s up with that?

Let’s take a gander at the definition of ego:

Noun a person's sense of self-esteem or self-importance.
"a boost to my ego"
the part of the mind that mediates between the conscious and the unconscious and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identi…

Transplanetary, Transgenerational Birthday Present of Hope for the Future

ADL Blog Images (25)

Rev. Brian L. Crissey

My grandfather was shot dead when my dad was only 2. It was 1901. The family thought he was a traveling salesman, but the bullet in his heart said he was a riverboat gambler. We can't all be right all the time, can we? But we would like to get many of the big judgments right, wouldn't we? Or at least some of them.

Now I'm a grandfather seven times over, and my 16-year-old granddaughter Amata, who currently lives in Phuket, Thailand, provided me with an unexpected birthday…

Emerging Emergency

ADL Blog Images (21)

By Rev. Brian Kirsch

This past couple of months, I’ve seen Facebook posts and e-mails reminding me to “Emerge and Converge” to the 2021 ADL Conference. Back about forty years ago, I went through some communication courses with Scientology. One thing that stuck with me is the idea of looking up words even though I think or believe I know what they mean. Emerge: move out of or away from something and come into view. Converge: (of lines) tend to meet at a point.

“Time is of the essence” …
