The Original Symbol of the Alliance of Divine Love
The Alliance of Divine Love Logo has three powerful symbols – the gold ring, the amethyst crystal and the sun. Like all universal symbols, they can be interpreted on many different levels.
The gold ring offers an endless circle of love between God and his creation. The amethyst crystal growing within the ring suggests man’s ability to rise above the seemly impossible, where it touches the true light of wisdom as represented by the sun.
The New Alliance of Divine Love Logo
The colors in the new Alliance of Divine Love logo represent movement, order and divinity.
Green variations represent life and renewal. It is a restful and soothing
color and is also the color of the heart chakra.
The Blue variations represent shades of communication, success
and security. This is the most-used color in any logo design. Most people like at least one shade of blue, a color that represents the throat chakra, which is an essential part of communicating Divine Love.
The Purple variations represent royalty, divinity and spirituality.
Purple implies ceremony, sophistication and justice and is the
color of the third-eye chakra.
The shape of the "D" in the ADL logo incorporates a subtle reference to the Fibonacci sequence, which mathematically defines the geometry of growth. Spiritually, this sequence represents the sacred geometry of life. It is derived by adding the last two members of a sequence to generate the next.
The Fibonacci sequence represents the outward growth of life. It is very evident in a Nautilus shell that builds outward, encompassing larger and larger areas. Such is our spiritual growth as we grow and learn.

The Rose
A rose is given to each minister at the time of their ordination. Its symbolism is known by almost everyone on some level — otherwise it wouldn't be the most popularly sent flower on Valentine's Day!
Hands-down, the rose is a symbol of some very powerful elements, and it's no wonder. Roses are beautiful to the eye, and their aroma is equally show-stopping. With such an impressive presence, the rose is bound to stir up attention in human culture, and has ancient symbolic meanings throughout human history.
The rose is both a symbol of purity and a symbol of passion, both heavenly perfection and earthly passion; both virginity and fertility; and both death and life.
The rose is the flower of the Goddess Venus, but it is also the blood of Adonis and of Christ. It is a symbol of transmutation — that of taking food from the earth and transmuting it into the beautiful fragrant rose.
The rose garden is a symbol of Paradise. It is the place of the mystic marriage. In ancient Rome, roses were grown in the funerary gardens to symbolize resurrection.
The thorns have represented suffering and sacrifice as well as the sins of the Fall from Paradise.
