Welcome to the New ADL Website (New Features)

beautiful-beverage-black-coffee-1410226

We have been working hard behind-the-scenes to take ADL to the next level. Now, we are excited to reveal the all-new online home for our ADL ministers!

What's new

Besides the overall design changes to the website, we have LOTS of new features and perks. Below is a quick list of some of the biggest upgrades (keep scrolling for more detailed descriptions).

  • Personal Account Access
  • Streamlined Payment & Signup Processes
  • Community Forums
  • ADL Blog
  • Online Courses (coming soon)

Personal Account Access

You can now login to your very own ADL account online from anywhere anytime! Here are a few things you can do with your ADL online account:

  • access receipts and payment history
  • update your contact details and ADL profile (which is visible to other ADL ministers)
  • comment on blog articles
  • communicate with other ADL Ministers, via our brand new ADL Minister Forum (ADL Mentors also have their own forum)

All of this empowers you (our ministers) to connect with each other and manage your account with ADL with much more ease.

Streamlined Processes

Our new system also allows us to greatly improve almost all of our administrative processes, including processing renewal dues payments and signing up new ministers for training. Through your ADL account, you can manage your renewal payments online (including the new ability for auto-renewal). New minister trainees will have a much more straight-forward process for getting started with our new signup process.

We are just getting started in our new system, and there is always a learning curve with any new technology, so please let us know if you encounter any issues. Your feedback is extremely helpful in improving our processes and, likewise, we are here to help you navigate our new system as well.

Community Forums

We now have private online communities (currently one for ADL Ministers and one for ADL Mentors). You must login to access these. These communities have their own blogs and forums where you can post and comment, sharing ideas and getting feedback.

This is something our ministers have requested for a long time, a way for ministers to communicate and connect with each other online. While this isn't a full-on social network (with "friends", "followers", or private messaging), it does allow you to submit posts and comment on other posts on the community forums, as well as blog posts. This is a great tool to post questions and/or suggestions for other ministers to comment on.

ADL Blog

The new ADL Blog is an efficient way for us to provide official ADL updates to you. This will (ideally) minimize how much sifting through emails you have to do to find the most up-to-date ADL happenings and info.

Online Courses

Our move to this new system was inspired by the desire for online ADL courses. The goal is to create courses as "continuing education" for our ministers as well as having some for the general public. This includes courses created by you (our ADL ministers), which is a great way to share your knowledge and experience with others.

Creating courses properly takes time and is still a work-in-progress, but very soon we will be launching some courses online.

If you have an idea for a course we would love to hear from you!

After logging in, Click Menu Button "Your Sites". Click "Minister Community", Click Menu Button "More", Click "Renew". Complete all required info, click desired payment, enter payment source info, submit. This takes you to page 2 to complete financial info (in lieu of completing it on paper renewal form). That's it!

Hi Constance,
You should be able to get right into your own account, but I see something
is a little strange with your
email to that account. So…we’ll get back to you.
Is there anything urgent that you wanted to change that we could do for you?
We hope you had a most pleasant holiday.
And Happy New Year!
Blessings,
Pamela

Hi Pam

This isn’t Constance. You may need to check the email address.

Thanks

When I go in, it does not look the same as when I login as Lew. I do not have a way to put in my address or contact info. All it wants is the email, which it has. And I do not appear in the list of ministers ...

So it is no hurry. We are promoting the events and classes we are doing here at our Center and I thought the ADL website would be one way to connect with other ADL students and members.

Let me know what I should do next???

It would be a GREAT way to connect. We’ll try to get this straightened out
