ADL Ministers and the Affordable Health Care Act
February 15, 2015, is the cut-off date to be enrolled in "affordable health care," a private insurance, have Medicare/MedicAid, or receive your exempt. If your income falls above 100% of the federal poverty level, than you qualify to shop the marketplace.
For 2014 tax year, the penalty for not having health insurances is $95 per person, or 1% of income, whichever is greater. For the 2015 tax year, the penalty is $347 a person, or 2% of income, whichever is greater. In 2016 it will go above $600, or 2.5% of income.
It is simple and very important to go online and see if you qualify or are exempt.
If you qualify to shop the marketplace, the government may offer you a "premium tax credit" based on your income. Oftentimes, people are receiving coverage for as low as $20 a month, with the premium tax credit. It's worth looking into.
ADL Ministers are not automatically exempt as ministers, which was verified by the ADL Administrative staff. If you have questions, you are welcome to email me, and I'm happy to assist as much as I am able to.

Heart Space

As we begin our journey into Summer of 2014, let us continue to live from our Heart Space. In our heart space, there is only peace, love, acceptance, and oneness. In our heart space, there is no longer an energy of separation, competition, or taking things personally. We accept our life experiences as they are, life experiences. We choose to take in a living deep breath throughout our conscious moments. In our heart space, we choose to live out our Heart's Desire.
I learned a mystical understanding some time ago, that when we cross over from the physical life, we continue to "do our work" for Love and for the expansion of Love. In that moment of understanding this and embracing this fully, I realized that by choosing to do work in the planet for the heart's desire to expand Love, from that space we begin thriving as we live Heaven on Earth. This summer, may we all shift from our mind to our heart space and live moment to moment creating Heaven on Earth.

With the help of our truly wonderful Board of Trustees, our ministry is doing incredibly well. It is a true honor and privilege to work with a group of professional, heart centered group. I am happy to report that after a month of transitioning with ChurchShield, the accounting company we have hired to replace the responsibilities of Rev. Diane Smith (Montgomery), is at the tail end. The flow of communication is wonderful with them, and another step in moving us into a very "well oiled machine". Since October 2013, we have gone through a great deal of changes and transitions in our ministry. The board has created beautifully professional systems to truly serve our ministers and humanity in the Greatest Degree of Love. I personally am so grateful to them for all of their hard work and dedication. I am also very grateful to the ministers, for your loving patience with the Administration in the past couple years, as we have transitioned so very much.
The annual mailer will be out in the mail by mid June. Dues will remain at $75 this year, and we have worked diligently to get this completed and ready for print and mail giving as much time as possible for ministers to pay their dues by August 31.
Upon receipt of dues, I will send you a 2015 sticker in the mail. Thank you for your patience in the past two years, in working with me to do the new ID cards. The system did not work out as we had hoped, so the board had voted to return to the sticker system for the next 5 years. If however, you do not have your ID card, please notify me at allianceofdivinelove@gmail.com.
Thank you again for all of your patience and love flow directed at the administration as we continue to work many hours to run our day to day operations. Thank you for all of your patience and love flow directed at the board, as they continue to spend hours in creating procedures and made decisions to move our ministry forward in the Greatest Degree of Love.

The ADL National Spring 2014 Conference

The ADL National Spring 2014 Conference was absolutely incredible.
The words spoken from Rev. Dr. Barbara Selwa at this event were "this was truly the best conference I have attended in 40 years"!!!
There were amazing and beautiful things that we all experienced. On Thursday evening, we all shared in a circle about how the ADL ministry has changed our lives, and how we continue to live out its teachings today. It is incredible to hear and know that in those of us who are living these teachings, an incredible ripple effect is already spreading throughout humanity.
On Friday, Rev. Dr. Barbara Selwa brought us a message we will take with us for years to come: "To play ball with God." She spoke about how we throw a tennis ball to a dog, spelled d-o-g, and when it comes back it's slimy. She encouraged us to play the same game, but reverse it, with God, spelled G-O-D (dog spelled backwards). This time she advises that we "dumpster dive to get our slimiest ball of all--with the biggest issues--and throw it to God, who will clean it for us." As we laughed and closed our eyes to experience this, we felt the healing already begin. What a wonderful and joyful visual thing to do!
Rev. Dr. Linda Marie Nelson then presented five candidates who were present with their official Bachelor’s degree certificates from Metropolitan Theological Seminary (MTS). What an wonderful and miraculous experience it is that we now have this beautiful opportunity with MTS for ADL ministers to receive their Bachelor’s degrees. It was truly a dream come true for all graduates.
Rev. Sammie Lipscomb offered us an emotion-code clearing, where being the ministers we are, we brought through deep emotions that span throughout our world. This clearing was incredible!!! We then enjoyed a beautiful hike and meditation at Hooker falls and Triple Falls in the energy vortex of Pisgah Forest. We shared much emotion at the talent show that evening. See Rev. Linda Joy Lewis's heartfelt sharing and poem about her late sister.
Saturday things got even more beautiful, and Rev. Dr. Nancy Ash taught us about "Doing a 360" in our lives. We all connected as we gained the awareness that we are truly in the time of having done a 360 in our lives, and we have a choice to do things differently. Everything in life is a circle, and we are spiraling up. Rev. Dr. Nancy Ash has written and published two incredible books!
Rev. Susan Warner touched all of our hearts, as we shared in her heart's journey into living oneness with source, prosperously. A powerful and beautiful reminder that when we are Living Oneness with Source, our lives are already incredibly prosperous in every way!
We were blessed to have clear information presented to us on how to set up our ministry. This information will be mailed out to the ministers soon and will be posted in the members-only section of the web site. For more information on this, contact me at allianceofdivinelove@gmail.com
That afternoon, Rev. Jai Maa knocked our socks off as she presented “Breaking through your Threshold.” She taught us that when we are coming to the space of our goals being manifest, and the barriers begin to appear, how to break through them, as this is the threshold before the full manifestation.
Saturday evening was magical, as Rev. Anna White Hodges had all of us laughing to tears. One minister wasn’t sure if she was having a heart attack or asthma attack, as she was laughing so hard (not literally any attack). Anna's concert was combined with hilarious humor as we listened to her life story, related to her experiences, and listened to her beautiful music. Rev. Dr. Selwa was so moved by Spirit at this concert, that she announced that we will be posting Rev. Anna White Hodges’ two songs “I am Loved” and “I Can Fly” on the ADL website!!! Rev. Anna White Hodges also presented her adorable and enjoyable children’s book, “Little Snow and Little Rain.”
Sunday, Rev. Shellie Enteen and Rev. Pam Crissey connected us to the oneness of Earth, as we committed to tithing back to our Mother Earth. A moving ceremony of circle dancing accompanied a musical slideshow of Nature, now visible on YouTube. Dancers moved through two Candles, in the ancient spirit of Beltane.
Throughout this conference, we all were reminded that we are in this circle of life, connected in oneness. We are a part of a ministry that has absolutely no peers in the world. There is truly not another ministry like ours, and our lives have been blessed since we went through the ministerial program.
Our Board of Trustees have been working very hard and have done an absolutely fabulous job with our Ministry. Following Rev. Dr. Barbara Hanshaw’s passing, our ministry has gone thorugh a significant grieving process. So much love and gratitude is extended to the Board of Trustees for all of their work, to get us to the space of being a solid, powerful, ministry that operates in a very professional manner. They are working in the energy of Oneness of Love, as they continue to move us forward.
The Alliance of Divine Love is an beautiful ministry, with a strong foundation and a prosperous future!
So much love and gratitude

A Message of Oneness
by Rev. Dr. Becky Covington
We are all one. It’s amazing what it looks like when we have the eyes to see this with our awareness. Every thought we have, ever word we actually speak, is shared with much more than we could ever imagine. This story may help us all to remember to be lovingly aware of what our thoughts are, and more importantly, what our spoken words are. Remember, our spoken words are our prayers. What words are we praying?
This past month, a friend of mine had made her life transition, and at the same moment I was working with a friend, who is a medium. In that moment we both “tuned in” to offer love and support in her journey onward. What came through from the friend who passed on was that, for her, the experience was similar to “the yellow-brick road” from The Wizard of Oz. She was traveling down a golden path to the light.
An hour later, another friend came by for a few moments. While there, she shared the joy of her new puppy that she had found. She described him to be so cute, so sweet. Then she stated, “He looks like that little dog Toto in 'The Wizard of Oz.' Do you remember what that dog looked like?"
The next evening, I was attending a class, and the facilitator shared a story of walking in the path of the light, like lights coming from our feet lighting the way forward. She then said, “It's like the yellow-brick road from the Wizard of Oz.”
Are all three of these mere coincidences, or are we truly that connected in oneness? Perhaps we are. Perhaps each word we speak, each conversation we have, is picked up on by more than we could ever imagine. If that is so, what a significant and powerful opportunity we each have when we speak. Are we using our words to pray love or fear? Separation or Oneness?
Words are Prayer. The Wizard of Oz experience reminds me to share words of Love, and to only to listen to words of Love. In the energy of Oneness, perhaps this is a way to spread more Love and more Peace. Speak only Love and Hear only Love.
