Become an Alliance of Divine Love Minister
Alliance of Divine Love, Inc., ministers are certified only after completing training programs in counseling, teaching, healing, and personal spiritual development. Each candidate for ministerial status must complete both study and practical application programs. Full ministerial status is conferred only after satisfactory completion of studies and an internship of at least one year and not more than three years, depending on the candidate's personal time commitment.
Ministers with expertise in particular para-scientific areas must also have completed extensive development in their specialty in accordance with the affirmation in Alliance of Divine Love's Credo referring to the giving, receiving and sharing of God's true substance and nature through the use of tools of the spiritual sciences.
Thus, Alliance of Divine Love ministers may use psychic channels, e.g. astrology, extrasensory perception, numerology, palmistry, tarot, Reiki, Healing Touch, Reflexology, Acupuncture, Sound Therapy, or other special talent areas while serving others. However, those being counseled should note that the primary aim of every Alliance of Divine Love minister is to promote spiritual growth in and through Divine Love. Alliance of Divine Love is an interfaith healing ministry; its ministers are trained spiritual counselors, teachers and healers. Therefore, any special talent used is not the focal point of the service rendered. Alliance of Divine Love ministers work only to enlighten and uplift souls - Alliance of Divine Love is truly a full service, interfaith healing ministry.

How Do I Find A Teacher/Class?
Alliance of Divine Love classes can be taken in your local area with a certified Alliance of Divine Love Ministerial Trainer. There are two courses to complete the initial training needed to become a minister. They involve about 36 lessons of about 1 hour each. Typically, these lessons are taught in only one hour sessions per week. In the case of an area where an Alliance of Divine Love Ministerial Trainer is not locally available, you may take the Alliance of Divine Love classes via correspondence, either over the internet, via telephone conference, or by mail. An Alliance of Divine Love advisor will work with you to assign a trainer who either shares your particular interests, or can best assist you in your very personal spiritual development work.

Many teachers have ongoing programs which you may join at any time; others have scheduled start dates. It is important for you to speak with a teacher who suits your needs and desires.

What Will I Study?
Alliance of Divine Love offers a self-awareness program of study to interested and aware individuals. The materials for this consciousness awakening program are contained in the handbooks of Spiritual Development titled EVER CLOSER and EVEN CLOSER, published by the Alliance of Divine Love. This course introduces the student to the many levels of awareness that can be tapped to create a personal image aligned with Higher Self, thus easing the tension and stress of life in today's chaotic society and creating a platform for Divine Service.
Further study in our text, MINISTERIAL LESSONS, follows for candidates seeking ordination as an Alliance of Divine Love Minister. Through ADL's international charter, ordained ministers are granted ministerial privileges around our blessed planet. Individual ministers are assigned chartered chapels as legal subordinates to the central organization of the Alliance of Divine Love, Inc. Ethical and membership requirements are required to maintain these ministerial privileges and continue as a minister under the ADL Charter.
The ministries of ADL ministers are as unique as each of us called to Divine Service. Many work in the public sector in social and medical institutions of healing and learning. Others practice their ministries on the streets serving the social, financial or health-challenged. Many choose to teach or coach others in Divine Spirituality and personal growth. The nature of each ministry is an expression of Divine Love whether a Native American Sweat Lodge, a Healing Touch practice, Yoga instruction, Raw Food Classes, Chakra Balancing, or Akashic Records Readings. It is all ONE - all DIVINE LOVE IN ACTION.
How Long Does It Take to Become a Minister?
The personal spiritual growth and development courses set forth in EVER CLOSER and EVEN CLOSER can be completed in a flexible time frame averaging from 12 to 36 weeks. Candidates dedicated to the MINISTERIAL LESSONS from the start may also complete the entire program within this time-frame. As these studies comprise a more experiential program than just "answering questions in a workbook," individual progress toward completion is guided by both time commitment and personal engagement. Following successful completion of all of the required lessons, all new ministers are required to complete a minimum one-year internship. The nature of the internship is developed by the new minister in cooperation with their ADL trainer and is designed to demonstrate the new minister's application of ADL's Divine Love principles in practice in whatever service represents the new minister's "Divine Appointment" or sacred work. From the moment of your Ordination, and during your internship, you are entitled to practice within the scope of your ADL Chapel Charter and Ordination and enjoy all of the rights and privileges conveyed by your Alliance of Divine Love Ministry.
What Can I Do As A Minister?
The privileges of your ministerial ordination are essentially unlimited as long as they fall in the spiritual realm. You take an oath to "teach, preach, and counsel by all means." You may legally perform sacred ceremonies including weddings and baptisms and may practice any area of specialty within the realm of the metaphysical and spiritual. Ministers are encouraged to achieve high levels of competency in their chosen area.
How Much Does It Cost?
The tuition for the full course of three sections leading to ordination is $825. Provisions may be made for payments in a variety of installments and additional fees are applied depending on the arrangement you choose. An additional $25 per book is charged for correspondence classes to
cover the trainer's direct costs. Your tuition includes all lessons, three text books, your Legal Pack and two Certificates, Ordination and Chapel Charter, and Ordination Ceremony, either with your teacher or at an ADL Conference (Conferences are held twice a year.)
How Do Maintain My Ministerial Status?
Each year you are required to pay your annual Ministerial License Renewal Fee. At this time that fee is $75. License Renewal is due each year no later than August 31st. You will also be expected to live and practice by ADL's ministerial Ethics to which you agree prior to ordination.
A Higher Calling- ADL Doctoral Program
The Alliance of Divine Love offers a higher degree - Doctor of Divinity In Metaphysics and Spirituality (DDMS) for all ordained and current ADL ministers. (You may begin the DDMS program concurrent with your ministerial internship.) This program of heightened spiritual awareness, investigation and expression is an enormous opportunity for personal growth, enlightenment and public awareness of your accomplishments.
It is generally a three year program though one may "fast-track" in two years. Each Doctoral Candidate works one-to-one with a specially trained ADL doctoral mentor/coach/spiritual advisor who is there to guide and assist the student on this very special journey to Spiritual Mastery.

Our ADL Community
The Alliance of Divine Love holds two national gatherings each year to provide opportunity for all of our ministers, trainers, Doctoral Mentors and family members to join in spiritual fellowship and to share the grace of our work and lives. Great friendships develop from these meetings as well as learning and healing. With so many divinely gifted readers and healers in attendance, it is nearly impossible to come away from a meeting without experiencing a profound spiritual uplifting. The nature of these meetings varies from traditional conference settings with nationally-recognized speakers and musical performances to spiritual retreats for personal renewal and both individual and group connection to Higher Source. All ministers are invited and encouraged to participate in at least one gathering each year. Tapping into the wealth of our collective group of ministers is a gift to give and receive for yourself.
